Ring Out Danger

Founded in Petaluma, California in 2023 by a group of interfaith clergy and lay leaders, Ring Out Danger enlists communities of all faiths to join in mourning and protesting the epidemic of gun violence in the United States through the symbolic tolling of church bells, sounding of shofars and conches, sacred drumming, or whatever manner of sacred noise particular to your faith tradition.

We toll our bells on the first Friday of each month at 9:35 to 9:40 a.m. (local time) commemorating the time of the Sandy Hook shootings.
